Meet Cora Ibarra

MD, HMD, ABAARM

Cora Ibarra, MD, HMD, ABAARM, is the Founder and Medical Director of Bio Integrative Health Center International with nearly 40 years of global medical experience. Known by staff and patients as Dr. Cora, she holds a Doctor of Medicine from Southwestern University in Cebu City, Philippines, and has earned awards and recognition for her contributions. Her training spans pulmonary medicine, anesthesiology, homeopathy, and advanced certifications in chelation therapy, electroacupuncture, and bio-oxidative medicine. Licensed in Nevada, Dr. Cora integrates traditional and alternative treatments to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that supports overall well-being.

Melvin Ibarra Nario

MD, HMD, ABAARM

With almost a decade of experience in integrative medicine, Dr. Melvin Nario applies his diverse training in homeopathy, energy medicine, and nutritional therapies to deliver holistic, patient-centered care, drawing from his transformative personal health journey. Raised in the Philippines, Dr. Nario earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas and furthered his medical training in family medicine at the University of North Dakota. As a homeopath, he holds a diploma from the British Institute of Homeopathy and is currently a fellow at the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.

After years in traditional practice, Dr. Nario faced personal health challenges that led him to explore holistic alternatives. Through a combination of conventional and alternative therapies, he experienced significant health improvements—fueling his dedication to the field of integrative medicine. He went on to obtain a Homeopathic Medical Doctor (HMD) license in Nevada, expanding his expertise to include homeopathy, energy medicine, nutrition, chelation and IV therapy, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). His comprehensive, integrative approach blends conventional and alternative modalities to deliver patient-centered care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.

As a passionate educator and advocate for integrative medicine, Dr. Nario serves as a junior faculty member and fellow at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is also an experienced national and international speaker, sharing his insights at integrative medical conferences worldwide.

He is the current Vice President of the Nevada Homeopathic Board Of Medical Examiners and an active member Institute for Functional Medicine.

Maged

APH, PhD

Dr. Maged is a highly accomplished and multi-disciplinary physician, combining his extensive expertise in cardiology, nutrition, and integrative medicine to provide cutting-edge, patient-centered care. He began his medical journey by earning his Doctorate in Medicine from the Crimea State Medical Institute in 1986, followed by a rigorous three-year residency in Cardiology and Rheumatology at the Cardio Center of the Crimea State Medical Institute in Simferopol, USSR. His advanced training led him to become a Board-Certified Cardiologist in Russia and the former Soviet Republics.

After moving to the United States, Dr. Maged expanded his skill set by earning board certifications as a Naturopathic Physician and Advanced Practitioner and completing a PhD in Nutrition. He further deepened his expertise by conducting groundbreaking research in clinical immunology and molecular biology at the prestigious Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 1991 to 1993.

Since 1994, Dr. Maged has devoted himself to advancing the field of alternative and integrative medicine through both research and clinical practice. He specializes in oxidation therapy, chelation, nutritional therapies, anti-aging medicine, prolotherapy, and ozone therapy. These innovative techniques allow him to provide comprehensive care that supports healing and optimizes health on both cellular and systemic levels.

Dr. Maged’s work is informed by decades of research, clinical experience, and a commitment to integrating traditional and alternative approaches. His dedication exemplifies a holistic approach to medicine that addresses physical health, promotes vitality, supports disease prevention, and enhances longevity.

Lucy Hermosura

MA, HA

Lucy Hermosura earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. Her passion for helping others took her to London, England, where she worked at the Hanbury Dialysis Unit in London Hospital and with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

After moving to the United States, Lucy expanded her experience in healthcare by working at an Urgent Care clinic in California, as well as serving as a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens Pharmacy. Today, she brings her dedication and compassion to the Bio Integrative Health Center International in Nevada, where she is committed to supporting patients on their journey to natural healing.
